Location of Kildonan on Arran
Arran is only 2 hours by car from Glagow including the ferry. The International Airport at Glasgow makes Arran a convenient destination for overseas visitors.
Regular daily ferry crossings from Ardrossan to Brodick and from Claonaig to Lochranza.
Booking is required in advance if taking a car to the island from Ardrossan - but is drive on at Claonaig.
The Lochranza route operates in summer months only.
